job search update #1.
went to the career fair today. it was awkward. i know i'm a pretty awkward guy and everything, but i still can't get over how lame career fairs are. i was thinking about this on the way home.. why are they so weird? ah! yes, that's it - because nowhere else in society do you walk up to a complete stranger and tell them why you're legit. then you hand them a list of your accomplishments and they scrutinize it in front of you. yeah, i think that's probably why..
the best part of the day was walking around and overhearing someone say, "how do you spell management?"
my dad is coming into town to take me out to supper tonight, so pray for him as he hears me vent about the job search.
